Omegle alternative
A modern Omegle alternative for random video chat
Meet one stranger at a time through live video and text chat, without filling out a sign-up form. MingleTV is an independent service for adults aged 18 and over, with a simple Search, skip and stop flow.
How to start a conversation
- Open MingleTV and confirm you are 18 or older. Read the Community Rules before continuing.
- Click Search. Allow your browser to use your camera and microphone when prompted. Matching depends on another person being available.
- Talk or type once connected. Your camera is on the left and your partner’s is on the right. The message field becomes available when you have a match.
- Choose skip or stop. Use skip to leave and search for someone else. Use stop to end the session and turn off your camera and microphone.
What you get on MingleTV
- One-to-one conversations: you are paired with one person, rather than joining a group call.
- Video and text together: type a message during your match without switching to another app.
- No registration form: you do not need to provide an email address or create a public profile.
- Browser access: open the site on a phone or computer with a compatible browser, camera and microphone.
- Country display: a country estimate provides context for the match. You can hide yours in the privacy settings.
MingleTV is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Omegle. It offers its own version of the random-chat experience, with its own rules and privacy policy.
Privacy and reporting: what to expect
No registration form does not mean that no data is processed. Connection information is used to establish matches, and reports include information needed for review. A direct video connection may reveal your network IP to your partner; relay availability is shown in the settings. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
During an active conversation, use the flag button to choose a report reason and add optional details. Sending the report ends the conversation. Administrators review reports afterwards; they do not watch video live. No video capture or chat history is automatically attached to a report.
Nudity, harassment, hate, threats, scams and illegal content are prohibited. Leave a conversation that makes you uncomfortable and avoid sharing your address, passwords or financial information.
Questions before you start
Do I need an account or an app?
No sign-up form or app download is required. Open MingleTV in your browser. A technical session is created automatically to make matching work; it is not a public profile.
Can I use text chat without a camera?
The current chat starts by requesting camera and microphone access. Text messaging is available alongside video after you are matched; there is no separate text-only matching mode.
Why am I still searching, or unable to type?
You need another available person to be matched. The text field stays disabled while you wait. If the camera does not start, check your browser permissions and whether another application is using it. Matching and video connections are not guaranteed on every network.
Is my conversation recorded?
MingleTV does not record video or store chat history. Messages are cleared from the interface when a conversation ends. Another person could still capture what they see or hear on their own device.
Can I choose a specific country?
The country shown is an estimate based on the connection, not a country-selection filter or GPS location. A VPN may change the estimate. You can hide your country in settings.
Is MingleTV suitable for under-18s?
No. MingleTV is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. The age confirmation is a declaration, not identity verification. Use the report button if you suspect that your partner is under 18.
